Donna took her advisory to Ely today so the Track & Field results will have to wait until Monday. Instead, I give you this fine group of students enjoying the Ely wilderness.
Today was Track & Field Day. Students started with a 1 mile run/walk, then punt/pass/kick, and we ended with some tug-o-war. The winners will be posted tomorrow with some more pics.
While students were cleaning up alongside the highway other students were out cleaning up the area around Lucky Seven truck stop. And then unbeknownst to them rewarded with some pizza and pop! Thank you Lucky Seven!

NLCS students Addie, Braedon, and Patch have been competing in the MAAP Stars competition in Mankato the last two days. They're bringing home some hardware! First place - Employment Interview. First place - Team Advertising. 3rd Place - Team Management. 3rd Place - Workplace Relations. Way to go!

Free summer day camps for girls ages 14-17 through MN North Colleges. Registration is due by May 30th. Looks like some hands-on fun.

Miss B was absent on Friday during the pie in the face event so she took her turn yesterday morning. Thanks for being a good sport, Miss B!
The NLCS Student Council raised $106 for autism awareness by holding a "Pie In The Face" drawing. Students bought tickets for the chance to pie select students and staff. Looks like some sticky fun.
