NLCS students Addie, Braedon, and Patch have been competing in the MAAP Stars competition in Mankato the last two days. They're bringing home some hardware! First place - Employment Interview. First place - Team Advertising. 3rd Place - Team Management. 3rd Place - Workplace Relations. Way to go!

Free summer day camps for girls ages 14-17 through MN North Colleges. Registration is due by May 30th. Looks like some hands-on fun.

The NLCS Student Council raised $106 for autism awareness by holding a "Pie In The Face" drawing. Students bought tickets for the chance to pie select students and staff. Looks like some sticky fun.
Please help us spread the word. We need one teacher, two special education case managers, and a custodian for next school year. We are also, always looking for paras and substitute teachers. If you know someone who would be a good fit, please refer them to our website for more details.

Donna took a group of students to Wolf Ridge last week for a three day stay. If anyone remembers, that was right in the middle of the snowstorm. Looks like they made the best of it and had a good time.

Some NLCS students spent the afternoon at The Reif listening to Ensamble 7/4 - a Venezuelan band currently based in Florida, but brave enough to visit northern MN during our erratic spring weather.
